Covid-19 & Pest Control
Message to our current contract clients.
Pest control still remains a vital health and hygiene service and could also help reduce the risks of the spread of Covid-19 by removing secondary vectors such as rats and mice.
Like most organisations, we have been monitoring the developments in relation to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), taking note of the advice as issued by HM Government and Public Health England. We would like to reassure our customers that we have a Contingency Plan in place in order to maintain continued support to you and your organisations. To this aid, we have taken the following measures:
- We have made remote working provisions, should there be any requirement for an office shut down
- An immediate travel ban for non-essential business purposes
- Any member of staff suffering symptoms such as fever, severe cough or breathing difficulties have been advised to remain at home and seek immediate medical attention
- All members of staff have been urged to observe good standards of personal hand respiratory hygiene
If you implement a policy of not allowing contractors/engineers/technicians on your site for this period, please Contact Us to inform us of this immediately via email info@regionalenvironmental.co.uk to allow us to reschedule your service visits for a later date.
As you are still within our service cover we will attend any emergency callouts should the need arise as part of the overall agreement. If we attend site and are refused access we will deem this as a visit. In the event of a confirmed or suspected case on your premises, please Contact Us through office immediately on 0208 0450 445, in order for us to reschedule our attendance and help protect our staff and other customers.
Pest control still remains a vital health and hygiene service and could also help reduce the risks of the spread of Covid-19 by removing secondary vectors such as rats and mice. Our service is also vital in reducing the risks of food and product spoilage at a time of national emergency. Both rats and mice are destructive when it comes to cables for communications (computers etc), and can still present a risk of spread of many other diseases. When offices, warehouses and all other environments fall quiet due to temporary staff reductions the risks of infestation by rats and mice increase. Unchecked this can become an overwhelming problem that requires intensive and expensive treatments to bring back into check.
Please Contact Us for more information on our services during Covid-19.
